Sound control
Selecting sound effect
The digital sound effect allows you to select from
various preset modes that control the frequency
bands of sound to optimize certain musical
styles. It greatly enhances the excitement and
enjoyment of your favorite music.
● Press SOUND repeatedly to select the
available sound effect.
● You can select Digital Sound Control:
– TECHNO, ROCK, JAZZ,OPTIMAL, (in music
mode).
– CONCERT, ACTION, DRAMA, SCI- FI ( in
movie mode )
Selecting surround sound effect
● Press SURROUND to select multi-channel
surround or stereo.
➜ The availability of the various surround sound
modes depond on the sound available on the
disc.
➜ The center and rear speakers operate only in
multi-channel surround mode.
➜ The available output modes for multi-channel
include: DTS surround ,Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro-
Logic surround.
➜ Stereo broadcasts or recordings will produce
some surround channel effects when played in a
surround mode.
Selecting DBB effect
● Press DBB to set the Dynamic Bass Boost.
● You can select settings to enhance the bass
response:
– DBB 1,DBB 2,DBB 3,DBB OFF.
Selecting MAX SOUND effect
● Press MAX SOUND on the system or MAX
button on the remote control to select “
MAX
ON “ to achieve optimal sound.
➜ When MAX SOUND is activated, MAX
icon will blink and “
MAX ON “ will appear on
the display for 3 seconds.
● Press MAX SOUND on the system or MAX
button again to select “
MAX OFF “to achieve
optimal sound.
➜ When MAX SOUND is deactivated, “ MAX
OFF “ will appear on the display for 3 seconds.
MAX icon will turn off.
Volume control
Changing the volume level
● Press VOL +/- (or turn VOLUME +/-
clockwise or anticlockwise ) to increase or
decrease the master volume level.
➜ “ VOL MIN ” is displayed at minimum level.
➜ “ VOL MAX ” is displayed at maximum level.
➜ The range is from 0dB to 40dB. and the step
is 1 dB.
Switching off the volume temporarily
● Press MUTE.
➜ “Mute” is displayed on the TV.
➜ Press MUTE again or adjust the volume level
to cancel the MUTE mode.
➜ “Mute off” is displayed on the TV.
