Instruction for use Philips mini-speakers
1. Introduction
CONGRATULATIONS ! You have just bought a
sophisticated mini stereoloudspeaker set.This
set gives you the opportunity to share your
favourite music v/ith your friends.To ensure the
best performance of your mini stereo
loudspeakers, please read this document
carefully.

4. Installation
1. Connect the stereo signal to the Mini speaker
loudspeaker with the HiFi cable coming from
the right speaker as shown in figure 1.

2. SBC BM100 powered by batteries. Insert four
batteries (R6.'AA‘) in the battery
compartment on the right speaker module,
ensuring that the polarity is correct (see figure
I)
3.SBC BMI00 powered byAC/DC adaptor.
Insert the AC/OC adaptor plug into the DC
input jack (S) on the rear of the right speaker.
Then plug the AC/DC adaptor into a standard
mains power wall outlettThe voltage
mentioned on the rating label of the AC/DC
adaptor should be in line with the voltage of
the wall outlet.
5. Operation
1. Switch on the mini speakers; the amplifier is
now activated.
2. Position both speakers so that you can enjoy
the full audio range sound.
3. Adjust the speakers’ volume level to a
comfortable level by adjusting the volume of
your audio source.
4. When you no longer require the speakers,
turn the power switch off to conserve
batteries.
5. When the battery power runs low. the
battery indication (2) becomes less bright and
the sound quality degrades; when this happens
replace the batteries.
6. By not switching on the power the mini
speakers can be used as passive speakers; in
this case the speakers’ volume can be
controlled by adjusting the volume of your
audio source.
Positioning the mini speakers
Position the left speaker on the left side of your
listening area, and the right speaker on die right
side.

Precautions
•This mini speaker system works only on a 6V
DC supply. If the system has not being used or
will not be used for some time, please remove
the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion.
• Do not leave the mini speakers near heat
sources. Do not expose to direct sunlight,
excessive dust, moisture, rain or any kind of
mechanical shock.
• Do not use alcohol, thinner or petroleum-
based substances to clean the speakers.
• If fluid spills into the speakers, remove the
batteries immediately and consult an
authorised dealer.
