Adjusting initialsettings

Initial settings lets you perform initial setup of
different settings for this unit.
1 Function display
Shows the function names.
1 Press AV SOURCE and hold until the
unit turns off.
2 Click the joystick to display MENU.
INITIAL and SETUP appear on the display.
3 Use the joystick to select INITIAL.
Move to change the menu option; click to se-
lect.
The menu option selected with the joystick is
displayed with a frame.
The function names are displayed and oper-
able ones are highlighted.
4 Use the joystick to select the desired
function.
Move to change the function; click to select.
The function selected with the joystick is dis-
played with a frame.
# To return to the previous display, press BACK.
# To return to the display of each source, press
BAND/ESC.
Switching the warning tone
If the front panel is not detached from this
unit within five seconds of turning off the igni-
tion, a warning tone will sound. You can turn
off the warning tone.
! Only when using this unit with ADD-ON
mode (M), you can operate this function.
1 Use the joystick to select DT. WARNING.
2 Move the joystick up to turn warning
tone on.
# To turn warning tone off, move the joystick
down.
Switching the auxiliary setting
It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with
this unit. Activate the auxiliary setting when
using auxiliary equipment connected to this
unit.
! Only when using this unit with ADD-ON
mode (M), you can operate this function.
1 Use the joystick to select AUX.
2 Move the joystick up to turn auxiliary
setting on.
# To turn auxiliary setting off, move the joystick
down.
Switching the automatic
disc playback
You can turn automatic disc playback on or off
when you insert a disc into the disc loading
slot. When this function is on, the disc will be
automatically played after it is inserted into
the disc loading slot.
Initially, this function is set to on.
