Only when using this unit with ADD-ON
mode (M), you can perform the following
operations by this unit.
You can use this unit to control a TV tuner,
which is sold separately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
TV tuners operation manuals. This section
provides information on TV operations with
this unit which differs from that described in
the TV tuners operation manual.
1 Source icon
Shows which source has been selected.
2 Band indicator
Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.
3 Preset number indicator
Shows which preset has been selected.
4 Channel indicator
Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.
5 Preset list display
Shows the preset list.
1 Press AV SOURCE to select the TV.
Press AV SOURCE until you see TV displayed.
2 Press BAND/ESC to select a band.
Press BAND/ESC until the desired band is dis-
played, TV1 or TV2.
3 To perform manual tuning, move the
joystick left or right.
The channels move up or down step by step.
4 To perform seek tuning, holding the
joystick left or right for about one second
and release.
The tuner will scan the channels until a broad-
cast strong enough for good reception is
found.
# You can cancel seek tuning by moving the joy-
stick left or right.
# If you keep holding the joystick left or right,
you can skip broadcasting channels. Seek tuning
starts as soon as you release the joystick.
