Customizing your Windows

Get more from your device by customizing
it to match your preferences.
Set the current time and date
In Idle mode, open the application list
and select Settings > System > date
& time
Tap Set automatically bar and change
the date and time and other options.
Turn on or off the ringtone and
sounds
You can adjust the sounds for Ringtone,
New text message, New voicemail, New
email and other options.
On Start screen, tap the arrow to go
to your App list.
Tap Settings > System > ringtones &
sounds.
Switch to the silent mode
You can switch to silent mode by pressing
volume up or down, and tapping the bell
icon.
Adjust the volume of the ringtones
Press the Volume key up or down to adjust
the ringtone volume.

Select a wallpaper for the lock
screen
On Start screen, tap the arrow to go
to your App list.
Tap Settings > System > lock &
wallpaper > change wallpaper.
Select an image and save.
You can also change the Screen time-out
and set a password.
Adjust the brightness of the display
To adjust the brightness in the setting
menu,
On Start screen, tap the arrow to go
to your App list.
Tap Settings > System > brightness.
Drag the slider of Automatically adjust
to Off and tap the desired brightness
level.
NOTE: The brightness level of the
display will aff ect how quickly the device
consumes battery power.
Lock your SIM card
You can lock your device by activating the
PIN supplied with your SIM card.
On Start screen, tap the arrow to go
to your App list.
Tap Settings and drag to select
application > phone.
Drag SIM security Slider to On.
Enter your PIN and select enter.
