CIS (Contact Image Sensor) removal
1. Remove the top cover assembly. See
.
2. Disconnect the CIS cable from the system board.
3. Depress hinge (A) and lift to remove.
4. Remove CIS assembly.
Note: Check the glassy surface of the CIS for any stain or scratch. If
stained, wipe off with ethyl alcohol. If it is heavily stained or
scratched, replace it.
