If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely, contact your
Local Lincoln Authorized Field Service Facility for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

17. Dual Procedure is not function-
ing when using the local dual
procedure switch (on CB).
Status lights are solid green on
CB and Head boards.
18. Wire feed speed is consistent
and adjustable, but operates at
the wrong speed.
19. Status LED not solid green
a. Faulty local dual procedure
switch or CB mother board.
Disconnect harness plug from J5
of CB mother board. Check that
there is continuity between plug
pins 1 and 7 local DPS is in posi-
tion “A” but not when in gun or
“B”. Now check that there is con-
tinuity between plug pins 1and 8
when local DPS is in position “B”
but not when in “Gun” or “A”. If
any of these continuity tests fail,
repair or replace switch or switch
harness to correct the problem,
Otherwise, replace CB mother
board.
a. Dip switch on feed head board
does not match gear ratio used at
gear box. If using a high speed
gear, the feed head PC board dip
switch 8 must be set to 1 or “ON”.
b. Feed head board is not properly
reading DIP switch. Replace feed
head PC board.

misadjustment have been checked
and the problem persists, Contact
your local Lincoln Authorized
Field Service Facility.
