6 Getting Started
Performing basic functions
Note: The phone must be powered ON to perform the following functions.
To... From the home screen...
Turn the phone on Press and wait until the phone plays a sound.
Turn the phone off Press and hold until the phone plays a sound.
Make a call Enter the number and press or press to initiate voice
dialing. Contact must have voice tag assigned (see page 44).
End a call Press .
Answer a call Press .
Adjust volume during a call Press up or down.
Acknowledge an alert Press when you see OK .
Silence the ringer on an
incoming call
Press or then to answer.
Access voicemail Press and hold and follow the system prompts.
Access menus Press once.
Access Contacts list Press once.
Scroll menus Press up and down.
Select menus Highlight a menu or option and press once.
Access Recent Calls list Press and hold down.
Activate Camera mode Press and hold the side camera key . Focus on the image and
select Capture to take a picture.
