Note
Before loading envelopes, press them down to make sure that all air is
removed, and make sure that the folds of the flaps are firmly pressed,
otherwise the envelopes may become wrinkled or a paper misfeed may
occur.
After you have loaded the envelopes, use the control panel to specify the
paper size and paper type for the bypass tray.

Do not load envelopes in the
v (crosswise) orientation.
Do not load envelopes with the flap facing down.
Do not load envelopes with the flap facing backwards.
