1. Turn the power OFF.
2. Hold [PF2] down and turn the power ON.
Whenever Steps 1 and 2 are done, the EchoLink Sysop mode turns On and Off.
Note:
When EchoLink Sysop mode is On, the
icon appears.
When an audio signal is output from the data terminal to the personal computer, the
icon blinks.
When the personal computer has no RS-232C ports, then use a USB-to-serial conversion cable.
When EchoLink Sysop mode is On, the transceiver cannot communicate with MCP-2A Programming Software. Before
using MCP-2A, turn EchoLink Sysop mode Off.
8.5.4 Using MCP-2A to Configure TM-D710A/E
1. Select “Menu” > “Aux” from the Edit pulldown menu. Confirm “1200” bps is configured for “Data
Speed [bps]”. Data Speed can also be confirmed using Menu 518 on the transceiver.
2. Configure “SQC Output Source” for “SQL” in the dropdown list. This is the same as Menu 520
on the transceiver.
