About tracks
The recorder of the SP-500 consists of three tracks that independently record specific
functions (“KBD,” “Control,” and “Chord”) and five tracks for multi-track recording.
Each of these tracks can be independently set to “Rec” (record), “Play” (playback), or
“Mute” (muted).
If any track is set to “Rec,” the [RECORD] switch will blink.

Tracks “1”–“5”

cannot be set to “Mute.”
