Connecting HDMI equipment
You can use the INPUT4 terminal when connecting HDMI equipment.

• Refer to your external equipment operation manual for
the signal type.
To watch an HDMI equipment image, select
“INPUT4” from “SOURCE SELECTION”
menu using INPUT on the remote control
unit or on the TV. (See page 19.)

Press / to select “HDMI” or “DVI”.
Press TV MENU and the MENU screen
displays.
Press / to select (AUDIO).
Press / to select “HDMI”.
HDMI: When you connect the HDMI device to
the TV, select this setting.
DVI: When you connect the DVI device to the
TV with analog audio cords, select this
setting.
Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.

Using digital audio output
It is possible to output audio through the COAXIAL
DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT terminal in DVD mode
only. PCM audio outputs from the terminal.
NOTE
• Even when the TV is not in DVD mode, the audio may be
output through the COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT
terminal depending on the DVDs.
