Chapter 3: Watching TV
DIRECTV INTERACTIVE TM
Your DIRECTV Receiver has an interactive television service called DIRECTV
INTERACTIVE
TM powered by Wink Communications ® . With DIRECTV INTERACTIVE,
you have the opportunity to interact with TV programming just by using your
remote control. You can get up-to-the minute news, sports, weather, & program
information, respond to free offers during commercials, and even make purchases
while you watch TV.
The DIRECTV INTERACTIVE logo, , will flash in the upper left-hand corner of your
TV screen during programs and commercials that are interactive. Any time after the
logo first appears, just press the
button on your remote to open the interactive
window. Then, use the arrow buttons to move around the window and the
button to make selections.

tune to Ch. 499, the DIRECTV INTERACTIVE Center.
1 Press the button on the remote
control when the icon flashes in the
upper left hand corner of the screen.

Use the arrow buttons to scroll through
the interactive screen.
3 Press the EXIT button to exit the
interactive screen, or follow the on-
screen instructions to hide it.
DIRECTV INTERACTIVE service is only available on select model receivers. Receiver
