„ To change the angle
You can change the angle of view when playing a DVD disc that contains scenes
recorded from multiple angles.
Notes:
z Some DVDs prohibit changing the angle.
z The angle number is not displayed if there is no other angle recorded. "XX" is dis-
played instead.
z Refer to the manual of the disc as the operation may vary depending on the disc.
„ To zoom images (zoom)
You can magnify images during playback.
To return to normal view:
Press the ZOOM button repeatedly to select "Off" (the indicator goes out).
When you cancel the zoom function, you cannot shift the view.
Notes:
z An image may become distorted when zoomed.
z Subtitles cannot be zoomed.
z When the zoom indicator changes from white to red while shifting the image, you
cannot shift it any further.

When "ANGLE" appears on the unit
display during playback, set the
MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 2
and press the ANGLE button.

Use the ANGLE button to select an
angle number.
Each time you press, the angle changes.

In the pause mode or during play-
back, set the MODE 1/MODE 2
switch to MODE 2 and press the
ZOOM button.
ZOOM indicator
Pressing the button cycles through the zoom settings as follows:
ZOOM: 1 ( 1.2) ZOOM: 2 ( 1.5) ZOOM: 3 ( 2.0) Off (The indicator goes
out.).
