Internet Service Alerts
When you receive these alerts (with or without an Internet session
open), your phone emits a tone and displays a notification with alert
details.

to display alert contents or press

to delete it.

For data calls such as Internet access, GPRS (General Packet Radio
Service) uses a dedicated data channel and CSD (Circuit Switched Data)
use a voice channel. Usage charges differ, so your phone displays an
icon to tell you if it is using a GPRS connection
