I
Pressing the MD
H

performing other operations at the same time, perform them only after
this is cleared from the display.
Space-cut function:
If there is silence lasting 4 seconds or longer in the playback
signal during a synchro recording, recording will stop automati-
cally and the unit will enter the recording stand-by mode.
Then, when playback resumes, recording will automatically
restart.
(A space of 4 seconds is placed between tracks.)
I
If there is noise between tracks, the synchro recording or the space-
cut function may not work properly. If this happens, record manually.
I
When you need to record tracks or audio that include very weak
sounds lasting 4 seconds or more, manual recording is recom-
mended.

Track numbers
Recording CDs from a digital source:
Track numbers are automatically created to mark the beginning
of each track in the signal being recorded.
I
When making digital recordings from using a CD player as the source,
track numbers may not be created automatically, depending on the
CD player used.
Other considerations:
When there is a period of silence of 1.5 seconds or longer in the
playback signal, a track number will be automatically created.
If there is no silence, tracks will be recorded as one track.
I
If there is a lot of noise in the playback signal, track numbers may not
be created.
I
Recordings can be made without using the auto mark function.
