Tap [Enter phone #] beneath the modem name.
The Phone Setup screen is displayed.

Adjust the following settings as needed:
1 Enter the telephone number used to access the modem connected to
your computer.
2 Enter a dial prefix (such as “9”) to access an outside line, and tap the
check box next to [Dial prefix:] as needed. You can also enter a comma
in the field to introduce a pause in the dialing sequence. Each comma
equals a two second pause.
3 If the phone line you are using for your CLIÉ handheld has Call
Waiting, select the check box next to [Disable call waiting:] to avoid
an interruption during the modem HotSync
®
operation.
4 If you want to use a calling card to place the call, select the check box
next to [Use calling card:] and enter the calling card number.

Tap [OK].
The HotSync screen is displayed again.
