Base Station Settings
Ringer Melody
You can choose from ten ringer melodies (1–10).

MENU Open the Menu.

BASE SETT Scroll to Base Settings and press OK.

AUDIO SET UP Select Audio Set Up and press OK.

MELODY Scroll to Melody and press OK.

played. Scroll to the desired melody and press OK.
Changing the System PIN
To protect the system settings from unauthorized
access, you should change the default PIN (0000)
to a PIN that only you know. This also enables re-
mote operation (answering machine)

MENU Open the Menu.

BASE SETT Scroll to Base Settings and press OK.

SYSTEM PIN Scroll to System PIN and press OK.
Enter the default system PIN (default: 0000).
For security reasons, only four asterisks (****) are
displayed.

Press OK.
Enter the new system PIN (4 digits).

Four asterisks (****) representing your PIN are dis-
played again. Press OK.
Repeat the new system PIN.
NNNNNNN Press OK.
Resetting the Base Station
to the Default Setting
You may want to reset your base station to its de-
fault settings. Resetting the base station does not
affect the system PIN or handset registration.

MENU Open the Menu.

BASE SETT Scroll to Base Settings and press OK.

DEFAULT SETT Scroll to Default and press OK.
NNNNNNN Enter the system PIN (default setting: 0000) and
press OK.
