UNDERMOUNT TUB INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Use these Framing and Support instructions for Fuzion undermount tubs.
UNDERMOUNT INSTALLATION OPTIONS
The undermount gives the opportunity to be flexible in the design and location of the bath. Examples are shown for
possible installations.
FREE STANDING CORNER NICHE
Installation
A typical installation will have these construction characteristics.
Unit Protection
If protective film has been removed, reapply film. For added protection, place a drop cloth or other material in the
bottom of bath for protection. Be careful not to scratch the bath surface.
COUNTER
MORTAR*
*MORTAR MUST BE IN CONTACT WITH ALL FOAM FEET
With bath and template in this position, using a grease
pencil, mark on the bath the center line positions through
the cut out. Remove template. Measure from marked
center lines to a fixed point such as a wall.
TEMPLATE
BATH RIM
ALIGN
Transfer these measurements to counter and mark
center lines positions. Position template and cut
counter for the desired offset including control panel
cutout.
After cutting is complete, perform any needed
routing, edge work or polishing to the counter.

Counter Preparation
Locate the tub in the position for the installation. The
drain overflow parts MUST be assembled and properly
installed. See Plumbing and Water Supply.
Position the template so that the cutout aligns with the
tub's rim edge.
