Selecting on the AV receiver
■ [Stereo] button
This button selects the Stereo listening mode.

Listening Mode [ ] [ ] buttons
These buttons select all the listening modes that can
be used with the current input source.
Modes can be selected in the following order,
depending on the input signal format:
Direct
➔ Mono ➔ Stereo ➔ Surround (e.g., Dolby
Digital, DTS, PL II, and so on) ➔ Onkyo original
DSP
Selecting with the Remote Controller
■ [Surrond] button
This button selects the Dolby Digital, Pro Logic II,
DTS, and other listening modes.
■ [All ST] button
This button selects the All Ch Stereo listening mode.
■ [Stereo] button
This button selects the Stereo listening mode.
■ [Direct] button
This button selects the Direct listening mode.
■
[ DSP] & [DSP ] buttons
These buttons select the Onkyo original DSP modes.
Selecting Listening Modes
• The Dolby Digital and DTS listening modes
can only be selected if your DVD player is
connected to the AV receiver with a digital
audio connection (coaxial or optical).
• Listening mode availability depends on the
format of the current input signal.
