3.8 Extension Board Installation
To install a special function extension board on the left side of the FX 2N MPU:

Remove the top cover of the FX
2N

Fit the board to the connector and position over the screw holes correctly.
ƒ
Using the M3 (0.12”) selftapping screws provided secure the board to the base
unit.Torque 0.3 to 0.6 N·m (3 to 6 kgf.Cm)

Remove the cut-out from the cover using cutters or pliers to allow access to the board.
Note: The FX
2N
-232-BD is provided with grounding brackets which should be fitted to the
board before installation.
Installation der Erweiterungskarte
Um eine Erweiterungskarte an der linken Seite derFX 2N CPU zu installieren:

Nehmen Sie die Frontabdeckung auf der CPU ab.

Stecken Sie die Karte auf den Anschlußstecker, so daß die Bohrungen in der
Erweiterungskarte und der CPU übereinander liegen.

Befestigen Sie die Erweiterungskarte mit den M3-Schrauben. Anzugsmoment: 0,3 bis
0,6 N·m (3 bis 6 kgf.Cm)

Entfernen Sie die Aussparung auf der Frontabdeckung mit einem spitzen
Schneidewerkzeug, damit bei geschlossener Frontabdeckung ein Zugang zur
Erweiterungskarte möglich ist.
Hinweis: Das FX 2N -232-BD ist mit zusätzlichen Erdungsklemmen ausgestattet. Vor der
Installation des Gerätes auf der CPU sollten diese auf der Erweiterungskarte
montiert werden.

Para instalar una tarjeta de extensión funcional especial en el lado izquierdo del FX
2N
MPU se
debe:

Quitar la tapa del FX
2N
.

Fijar la tarjeta al conector y colocar correctamente sobre los agujeros para roscar.
ƒ
Fijar la tarjeta a la unidad base mediante los tornillos de atornillamiento directo M3
(0,12”).
Par de torsión 0,3 a 0,6 N·m (de 3 a 6 kg por cm)

Quitar el disyuntor de la tapa mediante un cortador o unas alicates a fin de facilitar el
acceso a la tarjeta.
Nota: El FX
2N
-232-BD se suministra con bornes de puesta a tierra que deberían fijarse a la
tarjeta antes de la instalación.
