̈ Press the æ button.
The following message will appear in
the multifunction display field:
Tire pres. monitor
reactivated
The tire pressure monitoring system
will now monitor the tire inflation pres-
sure values of all four tires.
The following message will appear in
the multifunction display field:
Tire pressure
displayed only
after driving
a few mins.
This display appears until the individual
inflation pressure values are matched
with the tires. The individual values are
then displayed (
୴ page 396).
If you wish to cancel activation:
̈ Press the ç button.
If one of the following messages appears in
the multifunction display:
ț reactivate tire
pressure monitor
after rectifying
pressure
ț Tire pressure
Please rectify
̈ Check the tire inflation pressures and
correct them if necessary.
̈ Reactivate the tire pressure monitoring
system.

After you have reactivated the tire
pressure monitoring system, the cur-
rent tire inflation pressure values will
only be shown after several minutes of
driving. During this time, the following
message appears in the display:
Tire pressure
displayed only
after driving
a few mins.
The time before the tire inflation pres-
sures are shown depends on whether
or not
ț you have mounted new tires
ț the old tires are still on the vehicle
If you have mounted new tires, it will
take slightly longer before the tire infla-
tion pressures are shown in the display.
