ACCESSING THE 828X SETTINGS

There are several ways to access 828x settings:

Open MOTU Audio Console from the Windows

Start menu > Programs > MOTU.

From within your host audio software’s audio

driver preferences. For example, in Cubase or
Nuendo, open the Device Setup window, click

VST

Audio System

and choose

MOTU Audio ASIO

from

the

ASIO Driver

menu

.

Then click the

MOTU

Audio ASIO

item in the list

and click the

Control

Panel

button.

Most applications provide access only to basic

settings such as sample rate and clock source. For
access to all settings, open MOTU Audio Console
using one of the techniques above.

General tab settings

The General tab (Figure 5-1) provides settings that
apply to all connected MOTU audio interfaces.

828x tab settings

The 828x tab (Figure 5-1) provides settings that
apply to a specific 828x interface. If you have
several 828x (or other MOTU) interfaces
connected, you’ll see a separate tab for each one.
