4. At this point, you need to select a file to serve as the panoramic background.
Hint: Several sample images are supplied with VSE. You will find these in folders named City Hall
(Figure 51) and Downtown Church in the directory at C:\TriCaster\Effects\LiveSets\Templates.
Once the panoramic background image file loads, VSE’s virtual set canvas updates.
You will find that mouse operations on the canvas have a slightly different outcome now. The mouse-wheel
still serves to zoom in and out, but dragging the mouse pointer rotates the virtual camera on its axis, rather
than moving it laterally or vertically.

5. Depending on the source type, choose Spherical or Cylindrical mapping in the Camera controls
group (Figure 52).
6. Notice that VSE attempts to detect and configure horizontal and vertical rotational limits under the
heading Camera and Field of View. To set vertical values manually, turn off the nearby Auto switch.
