To connect other internal SCSI devices, plug the devices into the
other connectors on the ribbon cable, as shown in Figure 3-7.
Connecting External SCSI Devices
You can daisy chain up to seven external SCSI devices to the external
connector on the host adapter. Daisy chaining means connecting mul-
tiple devices in a series, as shown in Figure 3-8. A cable runs from
the external host adapter connector to the first external device; a sec-
ond cable connects the first external device with the second external
device; and so on.
