3. The Current Message Options screen appears. Scroll to the
field that you would like to set, then press the
SPACE key to
change the option.
4. Click to view the menu. Scroll to Save and click.
You return to the To: screen.
Sending handheld-to-handheld
messages
When you select Interactive Handheld as your send method, you
can send messages to other handhelds and receive confirmation that
the recipient has received and read your message. To use Interactive
Handheld as a send method, one of the following items must be
entered in the Interactive Handheld: field of your contact’s address
information:
• the recipient’s user name
• the PIN assigned to the subscriber for use with the
Automated Response Centre
• the PIN assigned to the subscriber’s handheld
To send a handheld-to-handheld message:
1. In the Home screen, scroll to the COMPOSE icon and click.
2. The To: screen appears. Scroll to and click an existing contact’s
name for which you have a user name included in the contact’s
information.
3. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Scroll to Interactive
Handheld and click.
