Navigate via location
If you want to include more than a single destination in your trip, this option will allow
you select an additional destination or waypoint.
W hen you select the “Navigate via location” option Ingenix will ask you to add a new
Address . O nce this new address is added press “set“. Ingenix will route to the new
address before routing to the end destination. This will allow the user to drive from
his/her current starting location to a middle destination (or waypoint) before finally be
routed to the end destination.
Change start position
T his option will allow the user to select a di erent start location than where the

vehicle is currently. This option is useful if you do not require navigation to a specific
location but will require navigation after leaving that location. It is also useful to
determine the distance and time it will take for a specific trip not related to where the
vehicle is currently located.
To change the start point in your current route for trip to any other position, first
mark the “Change start position” check box. Then enter the address information for the
desired start location. After entering all required information press “set”. Ingenix will then
display the route from you new start location to the previously selected destination.
