4. Turn on the camera.
• On Windows: The HP Photosmart Software provides
the download functionality. In the Transfer Images
from Camera/Card screen, click Start Transfer. The
images are transferred to the computer. When the
Image Action Summary screen appears on the
computer, you can disconnect the camera from the
computer.
• On Macintosh: The application configured in Image
Capture Preferences (HP Photosmart Mac or iPhoto)
provides the download functionality. When the
download is complete, you can disconnect the camera
from the computer.
Printing images directly from the
camera
You can connect the camera directly to any
PictBridge-certified printer to print images. To
determine if your printer is PictBridge-certified,
look for the PictBridge logo on your printer.
1. Check that the printer is turned on. There should be no
blinking lights on the printer or error messages displayed
about the printer. Load paper into the printer, if needed.
