151 Troubleshooting and Support
The card is
locked. Please
remove the card
from your
camera.
The memory card
is locked.
Turn off the camera and
switch the locking tab on
the memory card to the
unlocked position.
CARD IS
UNREADABLE
The camera
cannot read the
memory card.
Like other types
of media,
memory cards
are subject to
failure; the card
may be corrupt
or an
unsupported
type.
• Turn the camera off
and then back on.
• Reformat the memory
card (see pages 90
and 127).
• Ensure that the memory
card is the proper type
for your camera (see
page 185). If it is the
proper type, try
formatting it. If it will
not format, replace the
memory card.
CARD LOCKED The memory card
is locked.
Turn off the camera and
switch the locking tab on
the memory card to the
unlocked position.
UNSUPPORTED
CARD
The memory card
is not a
supported
memory card.
Ensure that the memory
card is the proper type for
your camera (see
page 185).
