133 Troubleshooting and Support
To a Macintosh Computer
NOTE: For information about how to copy files, visit Mac
help on your computer.
1. Insert your camera’s memory card into memory card
reader (or into your computer’s memory card slot).
2. Either Image Capture or iPhoto starts automatically and
guides you through the process of transferring images.
• Image Capture: Click either Download Some or
Download All to transfer the images to your computer.
By default, the images are put in the Pictures or Movies
folder (depending on which kind of file they are).
• iPhoto: Click Import to transfer the images to your
computer. The images are stored in the iPhoto
application. To access the images, run iPhoto.
If no application starts automatically or if you want to
copy the images manually, look on the desktop for the
disk drive icon for the memory card, then copy the
images to your local hard drive.
