Using an External
Microphone
You can obtain clearer recording
sounds by connecting a commercially
sold external microphone to the
camcorder’s MIC connector.
• Only microphones with plug-in
power can be used.
• Non plug-in power microphones
are unusable.
• Before recording, be sure to switch
on the external microphone.
• When the external microphone is
connected, the internal microphone
does not operate.
