n When making a recording on a new blank tape, it is recommended for tape management that
you note the tape number which is displayed on the screen after "PLEASE WAIT" appears.
n When recording, select the channel and recording mode (speed), then press REC.
n Recordings should be made from the start of a new blank so no signal recorded sections are
not left between programs.
n If the recording time is less than 1 minute and 30 seconds in the SP mode, the data on the
program cannot be stored in memory.
Editing program titles and erasing titles or entries:
1. Turn the TV on and select the video channel (3 or 4).
2. Insert a recorded tape. The following screens will appear.
n When a tape is already in the VCR, press INDEX on the remote control; the directory screen
will appear.

3. Press the select or button on the remote control to select an entry in which you want to
edit a title or select a title or entry you want to erase.
