The Home Screen will not open.
p If the HIDE MENU function is on, the Home Screen will not
open and the screen will remain black even if the HOME
button is pushed.
To open the Home Screen, press the
HIDE MENU button on
the unit or remote control to turn the HIDE MENU function
off.
4K video resolution is not output.
p The display does not support the format you want to play or
does not support HDCP2.2
p Use an HDMI cable that supports it.
When playing 4K 30p, a high-speed HDMI cable is necessary.
When playing 4K UHD BD, 2160p 60Hz or other high-
definition video, a premium high-speed HDMI cable that
supports 18 Gbps is necessary. When using 2160p 30Hz or 3D
video, connect a monitor that supports the resolution using
a high-speed HDMI cable or a premium high-speed HDMI
cable.
p The monitor could be connected through an AV amplifier
that does not support HDMI 2.0 or HDCP 2.2.
During playback, video is disrupted, does not
appear or has a strange color.
p When searching forward or backward, for example, the video
might appear a little irregular.
p Is a mobile phone or other device that emits radio waves
being used nearby?
p Has a disc that is not supported by the unit or that has a
different region code been loaded in it.
p Does the TV support HDCP?
p With the power on, try disconnecting the HDMI cable from
the TV and this unit and then reconnecting it.
p Use a different HDMI cable and reconnect them.
p Check the “Display Settings”.
Subtitles do not appear.
p Subtitles cannot be turned on for titles without subtitle data.
No audio is output from the AV amplifier.
p Confirm that the AV amplifier is turned on.
p Confirm that the AV amplifier output is correct.
p Confirm that the AV amplifier supports bitstream or LPCM.
p Check the volume of the AV amplifier.
The camera angle cannot be changed.
p Angles cannot be changed for BD-Video or DVD-Video that
does not have multiple angles recorded.
p Camera angles can only be changed for scenes that have it
enabled.
High definition resolution cannot be viewed.
p Confirmed that the title recorded in high definition.
p Does the TV connected to the unit support high definition?
HDMI device control does not work.
p HDM device control only works when the necessary settings
have been made for this unit and the other supported device.
p When HDMI device control is enabled, it will be disabled
if the power plug of this device or the HDMI cable is
disconnected.
Cannot connect to a network.
p Confirm that the modem and router are turned on.
p Confirm that the modem and router Internet indicators are
lit.
p Check the unit’s Network settings.
p Confirm that this unit and router are connected correctly.
p Confirm that the router DHCP function is enabled.
