Wipe off any dust or dirt on the pickup roller using a genuine Epson cleaning kit or the included
microfiber cloth.

Caution:

Use only a genuine Epson cleaning kit or the included microfiber cloth to clean the roller;

using a dry cloth may damage the surface of the roller.

Plug in the AC adapter and press the

power button to turn on the scanner.

Hold down the

scan button for at least two seconds until the plastic parts next to the pickup roller

retract into the scanner. Press the

scan button several times to rotate the separation rollers. Use a
