Video Input/Output Settings

Changing Video Bus Assignments

The V-60HD has three internal video buses (PGM, PVW, and AUX).

You can select which buses to output via the SDI OUT and HDMI

OUT connectors.

Select the [MENU] button

Use the [VALUE] knob to select “PGM,” “PVW,” or “AUX” and

set the assigned video bus.

Press the [VALUE] knob to apply the setting.

Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.

About output audio

The SDI OUT connector and HDMI OUT connector output the

audio shown in the table below according to the audio bus

assignment.
The audio bus can be individually assigned for each connector.

audio that is output also changes accordingly.

PGM

This groups together all input

audio and outputs it (master out).

PVW

AUX

This outputs only the audio on

the AUX bus.

MASTER OUTPUT

This groups together all input audio and

outputs it (master out).

AUX

This outputs only the audio on the AUX bus.

* The audio of the MULTI-VIEW connector is fixed at master out and

cannot be changed.

Inputting Copyright-protected (HDCP)

Video

To input copyright-protected (HDCP) video from a Blu-ray Disc

player or the like, follow the steps described below to change the

“HDCP” setting.
* The V-60HD must be connected to an HDCP compatible display

for HDCP protected video to be connected.

What’s HDCP?

HDCP is copyright-protection technology that prevents unlawful

copying of content by encoding the path when sending digital

signals from a video playback device to a display monitor or

other display equipment.

Explanation

ON

Copyright-protected (HDCP) video can be input. HDCP is

also added to the video that is output.

OFF

Copyright-protected (HDCP) video cannot be input.

Press the [MENU] button to quit the menu.

Output from connectors

When “HDCP” is set to “ON,” video is output only from the HDMI

OUT and MULTI-VIEW connectors.
No video is output via the SDI OUT connectors.

Operation of the HDCP indicator

The HDCP indicator operates as follows, regardless of input.
