INPUT jacks

Connect your electric guitar here. Use either the HIGH or LOW jack

according to the output level of your guitar. Normally you’ll connect

to the HIGH input. If your guitar has an especially high output and

distorts easily, connect it to the LOW input.

2

Channel select

[CH SELECT] button

Switches between the CLEAN channel and the CRUNCH channel.

[DUAL TONE] button

Mixes the CLEAN channel and the CRUNCH channel.

* If a foot switch is connected, the [CH SELECT] button and [DUAL

TONE] button don't do anything.

3

CLEAN channel

Lets you create a broad range of sounds from undistorted clean

sound to light overdrive.

[VOLUME] knob

Adjusts the volume of the clean channel. If BOOST is off, settings

of 0–6 will provide undistorted clean sound, and settings of 6–12

provide a light crunch sound with some power-amp distortion.

[BOOST] button

Turning the [BOOST] button on provides a nice crunch sound.

[TONE] button

Brightens the mid- and high-frequency ranges, making the sound

crisper.

4

CRUNCH channel

[GAIN] knob

Adjusts the gain (amount of distortion) of the crunch channel.

[VOLUME] knob

Adjusts the volume of the crunch channel.

[BOOST] button

Turning the [BOOST] button on raises the gain of the CRUNCH

channel. Adjust the [GAIN] knob to change from crunch sound to

hard distortion.

[TONE] button

Brightens the mid- and high-frequency ranges, making the sound

crisper.
