Switch Explanation
CLEAN Switches to the CLEAN channel.
CRUNCH Switches to the CRUNCH channel.
DUAL TONE Turns the DUAL TONE. on.
CLEAN-BOOST Turns the CLEAN channel’s BOOST on/off on.
CRUNCH-BOOST
Turns the CRUNCH channel’s BOOST on/off
on.
FUNCTION 0 EFX LOOP A Turns the EFX LOOP A on/off.
FUNCTION 0 EFX LOOP B Turns the EFX LOOP B on/off.
MEMO
If a footswitch (sold separately: BOSS FS-6, FS-7, or FS-5L) and a
GA foot controller (sold separately: GA-FC) are both connected,
footswitch operations take priority and GA foot controller
operations are ignored.
Using the expression pedals
By connecting expression pedals (Roland EV-5, BOSS FV-500L, BOSS
FV-500H; sold separately), you can change the input volume and
master volume by pedal.

Jack Explanation
INPUT VOL
Adjusts the input volume.
* The input volume that is controlled by the expression
pedal connected to this jack cannot be adjusted from
the panel.
MASTER VOL
Adjusts the master volume. This lets you use volume
changes as a performance technique, or to mute your
instrument.
* The master volume that is controlled by the expres-
sion pedal connected to this jack is different than that
of the [MASTER] knob on the panel.
Setting MINIMUM VOLUME of an expression pedal
With the [MINIMUM VOLUME]
knob of an expression pedal,
you can set the value for when
the pedal is lifted up all the way
(lowest value).
* Use only the specified expression pedal (Roland EV-5, BOSS FV-
500L, BOSS FV-500H; sold separately). By connecting any other
expression pedals, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage
to the unit.
