Step 4.
SNMP trap is an informational message
sent from an SNMP agent to a manager.
Click Modify to modify the trap host pool.
Version: select version for trap host.
(Version 1 is for SNMPv1; Version 2 for
SNMPv2).
IP Address: type the trap host IP
address
Community: type the community
password. The community is setup in
community pool.
Press OK to finish the setup.
Step 5.
The browser will prompt the configured parameters and check it before writing into EPROM.
Press Restart to restart the gateway working with the new parameters and press Continue to setup other
parameters.
4.4.3 Time Sync
Time synchronization is an essential element for any business, which relies on the IT
system. The reason for this is that these systems all have clock that is the source of timer
for their filing or operations. Without time synchronization, these system’s clocks vary and
cause the failure of firewall packet filtering schedule processes, compromised security, or
virtual server working in wrong schedule.
Web UI Configuration
Step 1.
Click TIME SYNC.
Synchronization modes (SYNC method):
SNTP v4.0., Simple Network Time
Protocol
Sync with PC, synchronization with PC.
For synchronization with PC,
Select Sync with PC and press Sync
Now. The gateway will synchronize the
time with the connecting PC.
