About This Manual
Purpose
The manual has been written to help you install the Risco Device Discovery utility.
Intended Audience
This manual is primarily intended for the installers who will be able to configure the devices and
diagnose the health of the devices using this utility.
Prerequisites for Use
Basic knowledge of Windows and installing applications using InstallShield wizards is a prerequisite.
Understanding of an Access Control System is required. Basic knowledge of configuration of devices
and network addresses is essential.
Organisation of the Manual
Introduction provides the details of the utility.
Getting started with Installation describes the steps to install the RDD utility.
Repairing and Removing RDD describes the steps to repair or remove the RDD utility.
Contact provides the contact details of Risco Group.
