Safety

In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding handling of the
appliance.

This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can, however, lead to personal injury and property damage.

Basic Safety Instructions

This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children)

with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or defi ciences
in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

appliance.

Keep the appliance away from children and animals. Children often under-

estimate the risks of handling electric appliances.

When using the appliance, under no circumstances should you point it at

yourself or others, especially not towards the eyes and ears.
There would be a real risk of personal injury.

Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation and pay heed

to the infl ation instructions for the article to be infl ated. The article being
infl ated could burst and cause serious injuries.

Store the appliance in a dry place and out of the reach of children.

Do not use the appliance while driving. Operation of the appliance whilst

driving may cause an accident.

Use the appliance only with the vehicle engine switched off , so as not to

burden the environment unnecessarily.

Before use, check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not put into

operation an appliance that is damaged or has been dropped.

Do not subject the appliance to rain or wet weather and do not allow it to

come into contact with water. There is a risk of electric shock!

During operation, keep all openings of the appliance free. Do not seal the

openings with your hands or fi ngers and do not cover the unit. There would
be a risk of it overheating.

Ensure that sand or other small debris cannot enter into the air inlet or outlet

openings. These could damage the appliance.
