START-UP

WARNING: Disconnect the tool from the compressed air supply before
installing or removing the container.

1.

Insert the standpipe of the blaster into the corresponding opening of the container
(Fig. C).

2.

Screw the container (Fig. C) tight with the blaster. The bayonet lock facilitates the
correct closure. Check that the container is correctly seated. Read and follow all
safety and operating instructions of the manufacturer for the correct handling of
blast media.

3.

Fasten the collection bag for blast media (Fig. D) properly and safely to the plastic
port of the nozzle facing down, if necessary, with an additional hose clamp.

4.

Select the desired outlet nozzle for your application and fasten it at the end of the
outlet (Fig. E).

5.

Set the optimum working pressure on the compressed air supply with the help of a
pressure regulator. Make sure that the maximum working pressure of 6 bar is not
exceeded. An excessive working pressure gives no performance gain but only
increases the air consumption and accelerates the wear of the tool. Therefore,
always follow the technical specifications.

6.

Switch on the compressed air supply and let it run until the maximum vessel
pressure is reached and the compressor switches off. Then press on the trigger
(Fig. F) to start the tool.

7.

Point the outlet nozzle at the processed workpiece and blast it with an appropriate
blast media. Read and follow all safety and operating instructions of the
manufacturer for the correct handling of blast media.

8.

For good results, the distance from the tool to the processed workpiece should not
exceed 20 cm.

9.

Collect the used blast media in the collection bag. You may use it again after
checking and following the instructions of the manufacturer.

When working with this tool, always wear personal protective equipment
such as respirator, goggles, ear protectors and gloves.

SWITCHING OFF THE TOOL

When you have finished your work, release the trigger to stop the tool.
