Do not leave the tool running unattended. Always switch the tool off and do not leave
it until it stops completely.

Secure the workpiece. Use clamps or a vice to safely hold the workpiece. This is
safer than holding it with your hand, and also it frees both hands to handle the tool.

Generation of noise: Wear ear protection when using power tools.

Protection against dust: Wear a dust mask when working in dusty conditions. If the
tool is equipped with a connection for dust extraction and/or duct collection devices,
make sure that you attach the dust extraction device or a dust bag.

Damaged protective devices and parts must be properly repaired or replaced by a
recognised specialist workshop unless specified otherwise in the operating
instructions.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF YOUR PNEUMATIC TOOL

5.1 Important!

Read and understand the operating and maintenance instructions before you start
working with the pneumatic tool.

Do not work with the tool in an explosive environment that contains flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Tools can create sparks that may ignite the dust or fumes.

Always make sure that you have a safe footing and hold the tool firmly and safely
because unexpected movements of the tool due to reaction forces or breakage of
tool attachments or the counter bearing may lead to injuries.

Before changing the tool attachments or adjusting the tool, always disconnect the
tool from the compressed air supply.

Be aware of the risk of injury if you do not keep the hands away from the counter
bearing, especially when loosening screws in space-restricted conditions (e.g. risk of
crushing the hand).

Always first remove the hands from the tool attachment (socket, chisel) to avoid the
risk of injury from moving parts.

Detachment of workpiece fragments or breakage of the tool attachment (socket,
chisel) pose a danger to bystanders because detached parts can be ejected at a high
speed, especially in the case of impact wrenches.

Hold the hose firmly when loosening the coupling. A whip-like recoil may result in
injuries.

Sudden changes on the workpiece may lead to unexpected movement of the tool,
which can cause dangerous situations.

Non-rotating tools with impact function are generally not insulated. Therefore, any
possible contact with electrical wiring must be especially avoided.

Non-rotating tools with impact function must not be used in explosive atmosphere,
unless specially designed for this purpose.

Work with non-rotating tools with impact function can produce dust that, depending
on the processed material, may be harmful to operating personnel. It is also possible
that, during work, particles/fragments are ejected or fall from the workpiece or that
the workpiece is destroyed. Therefore, you must protect yourself and your
environment from the risk of accidents by taking appropriate precautions. Make the
work area safe for other people and wear appropriate protective equipment.

In the case of heavy types of non-rotating tools with impact function, the tool
attachment may break due to fatigue after long periods of operation.
