Isolating terminals
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury due to electric shock (electric arc)!
Electric arc when opening isolating terminals under load.
Severe injury or death will result if the live connections are touched.
Do not open isolating terminals under electrical load.
›
Disconnect the photovoltaic array and all inverters first.
›
Disconnect the string collector.
›
Lock all circuit breakers to prevent reconnection.
›
Ensure that the device is completely disconnected.
›
The isolating terminals cannot be opened until the inverters and string collectors are disconnected.
The isolating terminals at the positive pole (positive and negative poles in the FR) simplify commissioning.
The voltage and polarity can be checked there without great difficulty.
5.6
Connecting main DC lines
DANGER
Danger of death from high voltage.
Severe injury or death will result if the live connections are touched.
Proceed with the utmost caution when connecting the main DC line, because the current is highest
here when the system is operating. Incorrectly handled terminals are in danger of inducing electric
arcs.
Connecting main DC lines
↻ Disconnect the device from the power supply.
↻ Observe safety instructions.
↻ Observe the wire cross-sections.
↻ Observe the polarity.
1. Connect DC input lines to the positive and negative on the string collector.
2. Connect DC input lines to the inverter.
3. Check that the connections are correct.
