Delivery

4.1

Scope of delivery

- generator terminal box

- screws and bolts

- wall bracket

- documentation

Check that all parts are complete and whether there is any externally visible damage. If any parts are missing or

damaged, contact your dealer. All generator terminal boxes include DIN-screws and bolts in sufficient quantity.

The installer is responsible for any parts damaged during installation by the use of incorrect tools. This applies

particularly for connection to spring-loaded terminals. The correct tools must be used to prevent subsequent

contact problems. The seating of every string should be tested after connection to ensure that it is correctly

connected. The same applies for connecting the output lines.

The following tools are required for correct connection and assembly of the generator terminal box:

Mounting

5.1

Installation location

The IP65 housing is suitable for installation both indoors and outdoors. The following rules must be observed:

The installation area must be horizontal.

The surface must be flat to prevent leaks caused by distortion of the housing.

Do not expose plastic housings directly to the weather. Direct sunlight will age the housing faster

and may overheat the components.

Boxes mounted on the roof or outside should be protected against rain and sunlight with separate roofs.

5.2

Wall mounting

The screws and wall anchors must be large enough to support the weight of the terminal box. No specific

information is provided here, because local conditions vary greatly.

5.3

Glands

All cables should be inserted into the generator terminal box directly from below via one of the included cable

glands. Version FR = DC solar plugs.

CAUTION

Damage to the device by penetration of water.
Plug all holes that are not used to prevent entry of water.
Tighten the glands with a tool to prevent leakage.
