Inverter Design Area
In this area, you select suitable inverters for the PV arrays in the current subproject.
1. To select inverters manually:
• Select [Manual design].
☑ The dialog box Select an inverter opens.
• To restrict the list of displayed inverters, activate the required checkboxes in the Set inverter limits area.
• In the area Additional inverters, select the row of the required inverter.
☑ The selected row is displayed in a different color.
• Select [Apply inverter].
☑ The selected inverter is added to the subproject and displayed in the Inverter area.
• To add further inverters, select [Manual design].
2. To select inverters from design suggestions, see Section 6.14.
3. To have the inverters selected automatically by Sunny Design:
• To restrict the selection of inverters, select [Inverter filter] and activate the required checkboxes.
• Select [Automatic design].
☑ The Design dialog box opens.
• If required, change the displacement power factor and the method for calculating design suggestions.
• Select [Accept changes].
☑ The proposed inverters are added to the subproject and displayed in the Inverters area.
Inverter Area
1. If notes are displayed, observe the notes and solution suggestions.
2. If required, check the design in the Details area.
3. To delete an inverter, select
in the row of the inverter.
