PRE-OPERATION CHECK
Brakes
Front Brake Lever Movement
Squeeze the front brake lever toward the handlebar
and release it. It should move freely and smoothly
and should return to its rest position quickly when
released. You should feel a firm resistance in the
lever within the first 3/4-inch (19 mm) of lever
travel.
If the brake lever travels too far before beginning to
engage the brake, see the VICTORY Service Manual,
or contact an authorized VICTORY dealer for
service.
Front Brake Fluid Level
1. Position the motorcycle on level ground with the front wheel straight forward. Do not use the side stand.
Position the handlebars so that the brake fluid reservoir is level.
2. View the brake fluid through the sight glass. The fluid should be clear and at a level in or above the sight glass.
Add brake fluid if necessary. See page 112.
