Page Up
The button scrolls up. The meaning of scrolling varies with context:
•
Scrolling devices within a category: ‘Page Up’ moves back in the list of devices. (Back means
toward the beginning of the list of devices.)
When the list of devices is at the beginning already, the ‘Page Up’ button returns you to the
page in which you pressed the category button.
•
Scrolling levels in X-Y mode: Scrolling can occur when (1) selection buttons are visible on the
current button page, and the currently selected destination has more levels than the num-
ber of selection buttons.
‘Page Up’ moves back in the list of levels. (Back means toward the beginning of the list of lev-
els.)
•
Scrolling MD devices in MD mode: Scrolling can occur when (1) selection buttons are visible
on the current button page, and there are more MD devices than the number of selection
buttons.
‘Page Up’ moves back in the list of MD devices. (Back means toward the beginning of the list
of MD devices.)
The number of MD devices is the value of the ‘MultiDest Device Limit’ field in the config-
uration. This value might be greater than the number of actual MD devices. The MD
device list might have blank entries.
Panel Lock
The button prevents accidental changes to the panel settings, especially router crosspoints.
When the panel is locked, the button array becomes blank except for the Panel Lock button
which becomes high tally amber.
The button is a toggle: press the panel lock button again to revert the panel to its previous state.
Previous Source
This button presets the previously selected source for the current destination. This function is
useful when you make a route in error.
To recover the previous source, press ‘Previous Source’. When you do, the ‘Take’ button goes
high-tally. Then press ‘Take’ to finish recovering the source.
The default button text is “Previous Source” but the button can have any legend.
Quick Source
A quick source button selects a source and performs an immediate take.
Quick source and source buttons are similar, except that the quick source performs a take. Be
aware of which buttons are quick sources so you do not perform an accidental take.
Normally, the button text is the source’s mnemonic, but the configurer can assign any text to the
button.
Salvo
A salvo button presets an NV9000 system salvo. A subsequent press of a ‘Take’ button is
required to execute the salvo. (If you press any other button, the pending salvo is canceled.)
