Setting Up the Kaleido-IP
System Setup
The Kaleido-IP establishes a connection with the selected stream. All programs that are
part of the stream, and the elementary streams included in these programs,
automatically appear under the transport stream element in the System list.
6 Repeat this until you have completed the required configuration changes to match the
set of transport streams you wish to monitor.
7 If there are default transport streams left, which you will not use, right-click them, and
then click Remove.
8 On the File menu, click Save. Alternatively, click the Save button on the toolbar.
Changes to the system are saved.
Adding Stream Sources
If you have a four-port, or a six-port Kaleido-IP X300 model, or you wish to monitor sources
from Unicast streams or from other types of transport streams, or more sources from
Multicast streams, then you need to add transport streams to the basic system
configuration. See
Adding a Multicast Transport Stream
below, and
Note:
VLAN adapter settings must have been previously configured in
XAdmin. Refer to Configuring Virtual Network Adapters on a Kaleido-IP, in the
Kaleido-X User’s Manual, for more information.
