4. Select from the TV F ORMAT setting’s drop-down list the format target TV format for the
execution of automation commands and page creation. This is used to determine the
number of frames per second and to display timecode values. This TV Format should
match the TV Format of the templates that you build and the Rendering Resolution
setting of the Vertigo XG device (see
“Configuring the Vertigo XG’s Dashboard settings
for automation” on page 2-16 .
5. Click OK.
To configure Xplay to communicate with TXPlay using the Oxtel protocol over TCP/IP:
1.
Open Xplay’s A UTOMATION C ONFIGURATION window and create an instance of the Oxtel
protocol for the Vertigo XG’s local device (XG_CHA) that is to be controlled by TXPlay.
a.
Select T OOLS >C ONFIGURE A UTOMATION .
The X PLAY A UTOMATION C ONFIGURATION window appears.
b. In the D EVICE TO PROTOCOL MAPPINGS section, click the A DD P ROTOCOL button next
to the XG_CHA device.
c. Select O XTEL OVER TCP/IP from the drop-down list that appears and press E NTER .
Leave the Properties settings in their default state.
2. Click OK and restart Xplay.
