Workflow Playout
The active Playlist list Events. Each Event defines an Asset ID, Event ID, Timing info, Channel Pack
ID ([390] in the example below) and more:
Example Event.
The active Playlist is stored in the playout databases on the playout nodes. All communications with
the playout database are handled by the dataserver.
Playout is managed by a number of processes running on the K2 Edge: the Cobalt processes and the
nexos process.
